Snooze Button: Don’t hit it.

Forget the snooze button. When you hear a wake up call, wake up!

Every morning when the alarm rings and disturbs your precious sleep, you go into battle with yourself. You start thinking about all the reasons that you should wake up and your defense mechanism tends to create all the excuses that you can, just to sleep 5 more minutes.
We all know who wins and how fast that 5 mins goes. Again goes another battle and more of your time. You battle and battle until you are too late and wake up tired or in rush. Then, the whole day gets ruined and your mood gets off.

If you have the habit of keeping an alarm like the one in the picture, you are doing yourself harm. From the time I remember I have been doing this kind of alarm setting and most of the people I know do the same but do we even realize how much are we harming ourselves with this habit?

Scientifically speaking, we sleep in the time frame called sleep cycle and they have a duration of 90 minutes. What that means is if you are not sleeping for 90 minutes continuously you are disturbing your sleep pattern.
Experience-wise speaking, Every time I hit the snooze button, I felt uneasy and tired. The snooze button disturbed my sleep pattern in every 5 minutes, I thought I was resting and sleeping more while I was just waiting to be disturbed.

If you are one like me, stop snoozing and just do it. The only one and only way to beat the snooze button is to just do it.

Whenever that alarm hits your ears just count one two three and get up, if you even spend a second thinking why should wake up you lose.
