The empathetic side to the so-called addicted.
“Life is the compilation if addiction, you get born, get addicted and die. The only difference is that we all are addicted to different things that may grow or ruin ourselves.”

Do you hear music often? Do you sing songs in your shower or in the process of cleaning your room or during times when you are sad or times when you are happy? At parties or at religious meetups or on buses while traveling. Why do you do so?
I wanna label the experience that I just shared as an addiction and that makes you too addicted.
Yeah people say taking drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes regularly that directly harm your physical health are addictions. Well, there are many other forms of addictions that grow or harm us which we label as habits.
Habits are addictions, addiction is Habits and Humans are the creatures of habits. Everything we do is out of habit and we just simply tend to follow them. We all are basically addicted and we claim drug, alcohol, or other intakes as addicted.

We all use smartphones and social media, I mean they are a part of our life now. Don’t you feel ever addicted to them? Waking up next to smartphones, using them even in the bathroom and using them till you fall asleep, inside you surf the internet, and social media and are obsessed with it. You too are addicted. Seems bad right, now let’s look from the perspective of the so-called addicted.
Ever thought about why are we addicted and how do the drug, and alcohol intakes feel about that? Let’s take a moment to take the empathetic side.
Can you leave your smartphone out for a minute and do nothing when the charge is full and the internet is connected? I am sure most of us can’t but why? You subconsciously get habituated to using a phone so when you are free you automatically reach them. The same goes for drug intakes, they are habituated in such a way that if in any circumstances the thing they reach out to is their drug. For instance: Why does a smoker smoke often? A practical example would be the habit of a smoker smoking whenever he has nothing to do or do some intense thinking.
Thus, life is just a series of addictions and then we die.
