Let’s be honest here, A lot of things are going around the world, and thanks to science and technology we have easy access to all of that information. This information subconsciously creates a ruckus in your brain, we know it as “worries”.
“Worry is one of the greatest problems of humanity. “
Humans tend to think about things that will probably happen and come up with imaginary scenarios. So let’s take a look at the steps to handling worries.
- Ask yourself, what’s the worst that can possibly happen?
Worried about something? Just think “What’s the worst thing that could happen” if the thing you are worried about becomes true.
For instance: You are worried about failing exams because you messed up. OK, what’s the worst thing that could happen here even if you fail the exam? You probably will get scoldings from parents or be delayed to join college for a year. That’s it, you are not dead and can still recover. And the fact is that 95 percent of the things that we worry about won’t even happen.
- Prepare yourself mentally to accept the worst:
Preparing for the worst doesn’t mean welcoming the worst situation with open hands. It just means telling yourself that you are ready to deal with the worst situation if necessary. Remember, Nothing is permanent, not even the worst situation.
- Work calmly and methodically to improve upon the worst:
Ask yourself questions like.
What can I do to make the situation better?
Who can be the help to help you in the situation?
What are the steps I should take?
Prepare mentally ahead of time so that even if the worries come to reality, you can handle them like a pro.
